
16/05/2025 – The Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (FHIS Undiksha), continues to expand its international academic collaborations through various strategic initiatives. Recently, FHSS Undiksha officially signed an Implementation Arrangement on Summer School Program with the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. This agreement marks an important step in providing cross-border academic experiences for both students and lecturers.
The signing ceremony was held offline and attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, and student representatives. The Summer School Program is designed to offer an international learning experience, including thematic lectures, academic discussions, field visits, and cultural activities related to the fields of law and social sciences.
Dean of FHSS Undiksha, Prof.Dr. I Nengah Suastika, S.Pd., M.Pd. highlighted that the program will serve as a valuable platform to broaden students’ horizons. “The Summer School provides opportunities for our students to engage in an international academic environment, expand their global perspectives, and strengthen cross-border networks,” he remarked.
A representative from the University of Malaya added that the collaboration will bring significant benefits to both institutions, particularly in shaping a young generation of academics who are adaptive to global developments. “This program is not only about classroom learning but also about cultural exchange, sharing ideas, and academic experiences that strengthen regional collaboration,” they stated.
Through this Implementation Arrangement, both universities will regularly organize Summer School programs with up-to-date themes in education, law, and social sciences, while also opening opportunities for joint research and scholarly publications arising from the program.
This agreement reinforces FHIS Undiksha’s commitment to developing international programs that encourage students and lecturers to actively participate in global academic dynamics.
