
15/05/2025 – The Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (FHIS Undiksha), officially established an academic collaboration with the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia, through the signing of an Implementation Arrangement on Joint Publication. This initiative marks a significant milestone in strengthening international academic cooperation, particularly in the field of research and scholarly publications.
The signing ceremony was conducted (online/offline – adjust to actual context) and attended by academic leaders, lecturers, researchers, and postgraduate students from both institutions. The agreement aims to enhance research quality, expand academic networks, and support the internationalization agenda of the university.
Dean of FHIS Undiksha, in his remarks, expressed that this collaboration is expected to serve as a strategic platform for both lecturers and students in producing joint publications in reputable international journals. “This partnership opens broader opportunities not only in research collaboration but also in the exchange of academic ideas across countries,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the representative from the University of Malaya emphasized the importance of synergy between the two universities in addressing global challenges in law and social sciences. “This cooperation represents a concrete step towards increasing the contribution of Southeast Asian scholars in international academic forums,” they noted.
Through this Implementation Arrangement, both institutions will develop joint publication agendas, organize international seminars, and foster sustainable collaborative research opportunities.
