
Singaraja – The Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (FHIS Undiksha), has once again expanded its academic network through an international collaboration with the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. Both institutions officially signed an Implementation Arrangement on International Journal Reviewer as a strategic effort to enhance academic quality and strengthen scholarly publications.
The signing ceremony was conducted offline and attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, and students. This collaboration focuses on strengthening the capacity of lecturers and researchers to participate in the peer-review process for reputable international journals.
Dean of FHSS Undiksha, emphasized that this agreement is an integral part of the university’s internationalization agenda. “Through this arrangement, Undiksha’s lecturers and researchers will have greater opportunities to actively engage in the global academic process, particularly in ensuring the quality of scholarly publications through their role as reviewers,” he stated.
Meanwhile, a representative from the University of Malaya highlighted that the collaboration not only strengthens institutional relations but also contributes to raising academic standards in Southeast Asia. “The role of reviewers is crucial in safeguarding the credibility of international journals. With this partnership, we are fostering a stronger and more integrity-driven academic ecosystem,” they remarked.
Through this arrangement, both universities will develop reviewer training programs, facilitate academic exchanges, and open new opportunities for collaborative research that will enrich joint publications.
This collaboration underscores FHIS Undiksha’s commitment to strengthening its international reputation while encouraging its academic community to contribute more actively to global scholarly forums.
