
15/05/2025– The Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (FHIS Undiksha), continues to strengthen its international academic network through a collaboration with the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. Both institutions officially signed an Implementation Arrangement on Joint Article Writing as a strategic step to enhance the quality of scholarly publications and broaden academic contributions at the global level.
The signing ceremony was held offline and attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, and students. Through this collaboration, lecturers and researchers from both universities will engage in joint article writing projects, with the aim of publishing in reputable international journals.
Dean of FHIS Undiksha Prof.Dr. I Nengah Suastika, S.Pd., M.Pd. emphasized that the partnership represents a significant momentum in supporting the university’s internationalization agenda. “This joint article writing collaboration will serve as a platform for academics to exchange ideas, enrich perspectives, and produce scientific works that are competitive on a global scale,” he remarked.
A representative from the University of Malaya added that the initiative not only strengthens academic relations between Indonesia and Malaysia but also highlights the role of Southeast Asian universities in international scholarly discourse. “Joint article writing is a concrete form of collaboration in building a sustainable research network,” they noted.
Through this Implementation Arrangement, both institutions will establish agendas for joint writing projects, academic seminars, and collaborative research opportunities aimed at increasing both the quantity and quality of international publications.
This collaboration reaffirms FHIS Undiksha’s commitment to encouraging its academic community to actively contribute to the global academic stage while strengthening the university’s reputation in research and scholarly publication.
