
14/05/2025 – The Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (FHIS Undiksha), has officially signed an Implementation Arrangement on Visiting Lecturer Program with the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. This partnership marks an important milestone in strengthening international collaboration and creating wider opportunities for academic exchange.
Under this agreement, lecturers from both universities will participate as visiting lecturers, delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops in their respective partner institutions. The program is expected to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, enrich academic perspectives, and encourage cross-cultural exchange among students and faculty members.
Dean of FHIS Undiksha Prof.Dr. I Nengah Suastika, S.Pd., M.Pd., explained that the initiative is part of Undiksha’s commitment to internationalization. “By inviting lecturers from distinguished international universities, our students will benefit from diverse insights, global perspectives, and innovative teaching approaches. This will strengthen their academic competence and prepare them for global challenges,” he stated.
The University of Malaya representative also welcomed the collaboration, highlighting its importance in advancing regional academic cooperation. “This program allows us to share knowledge, expertise, and cultural experiences while also fostering stronger ties between our institutions,” the representative noted.
The Visiting Lecturer Program will be followed by a series of academic activities, including guest lectures, public seminars, and opportunities for joint research. Both universities hope that this initiative will not only strengthen their partnership but also contribute to the broader development of higher education in Southeast Asia.
